Troubleshooting
Dashboard empty, alerts late, emails missing, a location that could not be connected, and what to send support.
The dashboard says nothing is flagged.
That is usually the correct answer: nothing was outside your thresholds. Check the "Last data check" tile shows a recent time; if it does, the review is running. If you expected a specific alert, see Understanding alerts → why nothing fired.
The last data check is more than an hour old.
The app re-checks every 15 minutes and Clover also notifies it of changes. A stale time means the last check reported an error, most often an expired Clover connection. Open the app from your Clover dashboard again; if the time does not refresh within 15 minutes, email support with your business name.
I am not receiving emails.
Check Settings → Notifications has the right address and that "Email only high" is not hiding what you expect. Check spam for mail from alerts@cashovershort.com and add it to your safe senders. If an address unsubscribed, remove it, save, add it back and save.
Installation was not completed for my location.
The app is offered to businesses in the United States and in Canadian provinces other than Quebec. If your Clover business address is missing a state or province, add it in Clover's account settings and open the app again. If it is in Quebec or outside the US and Canada, the app cannot be installed at present and no data was read.
An employee is missing from the Employees page.
Employees are read from Clover. If someone was added in Clover in the last 15 minutes, wait for the next check. Deleted Clover employees are kept so their past alerts remain attributed, marked as inactive.
What should I send to support?
Your business name exactly as shown in Clover, what you expected, what you saw, and the time. Never send Clover passwords or API tokens; we will never ask for them. Email support@cashovershort.com. We reply within one business day.
